We welcome you to the new MSc in Marine Science and Technology Management (MSTM). The Program combines and utilizes the tradition, know-how and experience of the Department of Maritime Studies of the University of Piraeus and the Hellenic Naval Academy in the fields of administration and technology in shipping, respectively. Your studies in the Program will equip you with the necessary analytical skills, and theoretical and applied knowledge, which will be the resources for a professional career in shipping or for further studies and research.

MSTM is located in the shipping center of Piraeus, the shipping capital that hosts the most dynamic shipping cluster in Europe. The rapid technological developments, especially in the field of Information Technology along with the need of companies to integrate and capitalize on this development creates a demand for executives with expertise in management and technology in shipping. MSTM seeks to be a dynamic element of the maritime cluster of Piraeus, training these executives.

An element that makes the MSTM standing out is the utilization of the complementary know-how, infrastructure and human resources of two widely recognized academic institutions. These institutions share connections with the Greek shipping industry providing unique access to graduates.

The above elements create ideal conditions for the implementation of the mission of the Program. Of course, a necessary condition for this is your own effort. In this effort, the professors and administrative staff of MSTM will support you.
