ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The Program accepts applications from candidates who hold an undergraduate degree in accordance with article 34 of Law 4485/2017 of the Greek State, graduates from the Military Academies in accordance with Law 3187/2003 of the Greek State, graduates from the Hellenic Coast Guard, as well as graduates of the corresponding and equivalent Military Schools abroad. Graduates of Merchant Marine Academies from the academic year 2005-06 onwards, are also accepted, in accordance with the applicable legislation.

The number of admissions to the Program is set at a maximum of eighty (80) per intake. The selection is carried out in accordance with article 34 of Law 4485/2017. In addition, up to ten (10) free registrations, can be offered to Navy officers. The selection process is defined in Article 34 of Law 4485/2017 of the Greek State.

Criteria and Candidate Selection Process
The selection of applicants to the Program follows the provisions of Law 4485/2017 and the guidelines of the Program’s Regulations. The procedure is described in the call for the admission of postgraduate students, which is published on the website of the Program and on the websites of the collaborating Institutions.

The Candidate Selection Committee may decide to conduct, if necessary, additional examinations for any of the candidates. The content and time of the exams are determined by the Selection Committee.
